Turner chooses Ethernet over MPLS for WAN




Turner Broadcasting decided that the learning curve of an Ethernet-based WAN was much simpler than going with an MPLS-based system. The only caveat, according to James Robertson, vice president technology infrastructure & broadcast transmissions for Turner, is that Ethernet in the WAN behaves a bit differently than it does in the WAN.
