SureTouch screen is a winner

I think hardcore texters and typist who need a physical keyboard, such as on the Treo or other Blackberrys are initialling not going to like the Storm's SureTouch screen technology. Also, iPhone users will find it strange that you don't just lightly touch the virtual keyboard to type, but rather have to push down to make the screen surface click.

But I've found the Storm's touch screen and SureTouch interface much more usable than the iPhone, which someone with 6'4" person's thumbs doesn't do well on the hard to use iPhone keyboard. Give it a while. I think users will really like the new technology Blackberry has come out with.

Don't forget to crash the order system...

The Blackberry Storm couldn't have been too disappointing. At least new sales were heavy enough to crash the Verizon ordering system.

i came from using a voyager which has a physical qwerty keyboard. the storms virtual keyboard is almost as good. i am not as fast on it yet but i am much faster than my friends iphone he let me attempt to text on for about an hour. the iphone was miserable. the screen on the iphone is awesome as long as you're not typing. in my opinion surepress is awesome.
