Forget the techno-junk. Stop buying people stuff and make something instead. Spending money is really very thoughtless. You pay money for something without really any thought or effort. Sure, you may have had to work for the money, but it's spend is completely discretionary. Making something requires concentrated thought and time, truly something of value. Shun the commercial and especially the technological this season and be with your loved ones and family fully!

Video Games
I definitely agree with Rock Band 2 as the video game choice, but I'm surprised Guitar Hero 4 didn't make the list. It's not as good as RB, but it still has an excellent soundtrack. I've also been using http://www.bestcovery.com for gift ideas.
Didn't get that game on time...
We didn't receive the GH4 (World Tour) game in time for publication (the game came out right at our deadlines). I have tried the demo on the Xbox 360, and it plays a lot like RB2. What I like (at least in the demo) is the ability to use the RB peripherals (guitar, drums, etc.) to play GH4. I'd imagine that fans of RB2 could also get the new GH game and play that, too.
