I have a tx1000 and from day 1 it has ran extremely hot. At month 13 it died, right after the warranty finished. What happened was the computer would come on, all the lights and fan were on, but I had a blank screen. It would not do anything. The problem was that the computer was hot that it fried the motherboard.
MANY people with these exact laptops had the EXACT same problem as I did, and the $1500 spent when it ws new, I expected for this laptop to last more than the warranty.
