How Shaq and Buzzblog are alike

There's the obvious: We both played high school basketball.

But it turns out that Shaq -- NBA stalwart Shaquille O'Neal, for the non-fans -- also recently jumped aboard the Twitter bandwagon, exactly as has yours truly.

New York Times has the Shaq/Twitter story here. No one's written about my joining ... yet.

Shaq has 5,804 Twitter followers so far (make that 5,805). I have 41.

Did I mention that we both played high school basketball?

You're only beginning to realize how Twitter works. It's like the Ackerman function of blogging. Not only are you allowed to twitter about twittering (which is analogous to also acceptable blogging about blogging), you are encouraged, if not mandated, to twitter about having twittered your foray into twittering.

Given, that not counting that twittering as "writing about your joining" would be foolish.
