Lets put it this way and see if it's still circular
"illegally accessing Palin's YAHOO ACCOUNT, in order to... illegally access e-mail."
The yahoo account and her yahoo email are two very different things.
He first needed to illegally gain access to her yahoo account, which facilitaed him to illegally access her email account.
and I didn't even go to law school.

Let's hear it for anonymity on the internet!
Lesson #1 for would-be hax0rs on the internet:
There is no anonymity on the internet.
Well, for the likes of you at least.
Teach this fool a nice long lesson is what I say. I'm all for tossing the idiot in Jail. Maybe other wannabes will learn a lesson too, at his expense.
(laugh)
What a fool.
Hacker accessed Palin's email
So the 20 year old just accidentally landed on Palin's email - and then for fun just accidentatlly put her information out on the internet and accidentally hacked passwords and put it out on the internet. Good precedence case so when someone hacks Obama's email then what?
Let the jury hang Kernell
If I hacked into Kernell's defense lawyer's email account, would it be illegal, or an action related to the Freedom of Speech Act so that the nation would know what Kendell is doing to keep himself out of jail? Both actions of breaking into someone's emaill account and making them public is illegal, so let the jury hang Kendell for what he did. Maybe his dad made him do it. He should hang, too!
A new era in law enforcement
I trust that this aggressive prosecution of a college student now portends that the various Justice departments around the country will now be equally aggressively investigating nearly identical crimes committed by pranksters, disgruntled employees, industrial spies, and upset spouses.
Oh, wait, I forgot. This is the land of liberty and justice for all... who are public figures and raise a stink, while anyone else who is harmed (and the harm to Palin was ...?) gets a "this is below our radar" answer from their local cops.
Or as Palin might have said "those darn predatory hackers." And then winked.
