I wouldn't count them out
I wouldn't count them out just yet. They were selected as the Official Converged Network Equipment supplier for the 2010 Winter games and also the 2012 London Summer Games. Somebody at IOC feels that Nortel is here to stay.
Nortel in the Enterprise space
After selling their soul to the devil (Microsoft) I'm almost surprised they're continuing to rollout new enterprise products. Then again this doesn't appear to be new just another attempt to squeeze another few dollars out of their old customer base.
Nortel Products
Sounds as though they figured it out. That is, how to best the competition with the 450...
Wish Them Well...
I hope this works for them (450). I know that the BSG4 works, we have one. Not sure about the 8 and the 12...anyone know what they will cost? BSG4 is sub $600 I think and might be a better fit for the SMB market they are chasing. Thoughts?
