Of course pricing models need to be transparent and explained properly, but it's the same principle as having a water meter - it really is cheaper in most cases than a static fee.
What does amuse me is the "customisable" concern - here at http://www.thewebservice.com/ we consider the customization of SaaS software to be one of its greatest benefits. Is this the difference of being 1 year down the line or are people just beign a little short-sighted? What's customizable about an "out-of-the-box" solution?
