That's why I use AVG....
I have NEVER used Symantec's software, and that's one reason why. You would think such big companies such as Symantec and McAfee would have the best performance and the LEAST compatibility issues. I have found their AV and firewall prorgrams to be of poor quality, and independent tests show the same. Most people that I've repaired computers for have had Symantec or McAfee AV and/or firewall installed. The first thing I do is UNINSTALL them because of the issues I have with their programs. I can't believe they're charging people for such low-qulity software. They're software hogs so much of a computer's resources that it's plain crazy.
