Nortel Vs Cisco
Cisco is a giant in the enterprise networking industry. Nortel being the No.2 player in this market needs to do more of what its doing right now:
1. Forming relationships
2. Investing heavily in R&D
3. Being innovative and ahead of competition
to gain the No.1 position in the market. Cisco prides itself on its quality products and its market reputation, but for Nortel to gain that brand value, it would have to work twice as hard towards being called the market leader. I was curious though as to the test results of the Tolly group. Even though the Nortel products are faster and provide better performance, the consumers don't realize the fact that they are getting better value for money with Nortel products. I wish I was a psychic and had a answer to that question.
