On the issue of land versus air, the air have the advantage of going where no land lover can dare to tread. To me there are several issues that is developing in the arena of communications technology, and that is the manufacture of wireless landline, the developers of cell phones and then there are the providers of the sevices that go with such. I just brought a landline phone that has 5.0 gigahertz with a very impressive range for a landline, but there is also landlines with 6 gigahertz. I can see a time, in the not so distant future, that there may not be a difference between landline and cells. The landline of today is the terahertz phone of tomorrow.
We are in the firt stages of the Solar Age, the time of solar exploration and development, how will communication technology change in a time when we have settlements on the moon, what do you use; a cell or a landline?
