Time to practice better journalism

I think you and nearly every other IT, business and general news journalists have been too quick to "pull the trigger" when reporting on the iPhone. As a result almost every story nhas turned out to be wrong, misguided or irrelevant.

Your editors are pushing for "impact" stories and youa re obliging. Instead of checking out the validity of the story and digging deeper, you rush into print to try to scoop the competition. I think you all need to get back to journalistic fundamentals and do your homework BEFORE rushing into print.

There are just too many sources - ex, those at Duke - who are either ignorant, misinformed or have an agenda against anything Apple. We don't need to be driven by 24/7 exploitation of an already over-hyped subject.

Let's go find something useful and important to report on.
